The creative inspiration for the brand originated from one of Bay View’s core work values: providing only high-quality and expertly hand-crafted dining experiences. Inspiration was also found in some of the incredible design cues already in the location, like the larger-than-life symbolic Japanese crane sculpture that dominates the popular patio, and the hand-glazed blue and white ceramic plateware used for nearly every dish.
Through the use of hand-drawn elements like illustrations, pattern, and typography, with a coordinated color palette, and a fresh burst of new on-site photography, we were able to tie the revised brand and new website to the physical space, seamlessly.
